Kirstin Everard

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

I got my first official bank loan when I was 8 years old. When I asked my parents for money to buy a 4-H market lamb to raise for the fair, they told me to get it “the old fashioned way”. My dad handed me 3 copies of a bank loan application and made me do it on our family IBM typewriter. I still have that old checkbook register, with my 8-year old bubble-cursive handwriting!

A little bit about Kirstin

If you were a superhero what would your name and power be?

“Captain DoEverything”! I would have the speed, efficiency, accuracy and time-mastery to fit everything I want to do into my days. I’d be lightning fast, but I would also want the time-bending power to equally “sink in” and enjoy every moment.

IF YOU WERE A CHARACTER ON TV WHO WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?

McGyver, (1985 version), minus the mullet. A sensitive problem solver, showing persistence and an unbelievably improvisational nature–he was passionate about social causes and the environment before it was cool. Plus, like McGyver, I never go anywhere without a roll of duct tape, a swiss-army knife, a Sharpee, and a flashlight (OK, sometimes I travel with sparkly booth lights).

HOW DOES THAT RELATE TO YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIFE?

Professionally, I don’t like to cut corners–I grew up with the mantra that you “always do it right”, so I am big about creating a solid planning structure from the beginning, checking every box and thinking of every possible scenario when it comes to Client Campaigns. I’m always wanting to say yes to our Clients–we can do it.

Personally, I usually over-commit and sometimes try to pack it all in, but it’s because I’m enthusiastic about life and don’t want to miss a thing!

Is there a fun fact that no one knows?

I got my first official bank loan when I was 8 years old. When I asked my parents for money to buy a 4-H market lamb to raise for the fair, they told me to get it “the old fashioned way”. My dad handed me 3 copies of a bank loan application and made me do it on our family IBM typewriter (no white correction tape!). I still have that old checkbook register, with my 8-year old bubble-cursive handwriting.

What are the “hats” that you wear at work?

I have a diverse hat collection! Mama Bear, Air Traffic Control, Thinktank, Mentor, Problem Solver, Strategist, Saleswoman, Lifecoach, Director of Chi, and COI (Chief of Inspiration).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?

Chimichangas. With avocado, sour cream and tomatoes on top.
